The Social Finance Hot Desk
The Social Finance Hot Desk programme exists to empower business solutions to our world’s most pressing social and environmental issues. It was launched by Prime Advocates in 2017 to address key inhibitors preventing social enterprises from scaling.

Our unique model
The Social Finance Hot Desk adopts a unique intermediated model: law firms onboard SFHD as a client and we onboard social enterprises. This way, we can leverage Prime Advocates’ social finance and impact expertise.
Our intermediary model:
Allows law firms to take on matters that require social impact expertise
Upskills corporate lawyers on social impact and social finance law
Removes burdensome and inefficient onboarding processes
Allows firms to work with social enterprises they can’t onboard directly
We operate flexibly, allowing firms to take on matters directly or through the intermediated model.
